LGV & PCV ( formerly HGV & PSV )

We offer examinations for the above vehicle medical examinations. We can
usually examine within a few days of being contacted and occasionally can make a same day appointment.

Please note we can only accept cash or cheques with a cheque card. We cannot take credit or debit cards.

Please make sure you bring relevant paperwork with you (multi-page, orange-brown
coloured form "D4") a urine sample and spectacles or contact lenses, if worn.

The examination takes up to 30 minutes.

Fee; £50 with a £5 discount if you are already our patient, reflecting
the fact that we already have the medical records.

Taxi

The medical takes around 20 minutes, the fee being £40 with a £5 discount for our patients whose records we already hold. Application forms are available from Wrexham and Flintshire councils. Please make sure you bring the medical form with you; normally it is 2 white sheets of A4 printed on all sides.

Aviation

Dr. Saul is approved by the CAA to examine for both Class 1 and Class 2 medicals, CAA No.20094

A first medical will also require an ECG (heart tracing) and blood test.

Renewals will require an ECG; 2 yearly over 39
yearly over 49
every 6 months over 64

Audiograms may need to be done for instrument rating

The medical takes about an hour.

When attending please bring a urine sample and your last spectacle or contact lens prescription with you (if worn).
